Sexuality, Intimacy & Communication

We work with individuals, couples and moresomes on their intimacy, sexuality and communication. Even for clients not focused on sex therapy, discussing sexuality is often an important opportunity in the therapeutic process. We strive to set clients at ease about raising anything that comes to mind. We are non-judgmental and create a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, and sensations. We enjoy exploring how thoughts and narratives emerge and how to be present in your body while making space for the swirl of thoughts. For clients struggling with intimacy, sexual dysfunction, pain, discrepant desire, out of control sexual behavior, we provide a warm, sex-positive, kink and LGBTQ affirmative approach, where we co-create the therapy process at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

We regularly collaborate with clients’ other practitioners including individual therapists, sexual medicine physicians and pelvic physical therapists.

Consent Conversations

Consent is a topic that is of critical importance. We often hear of communication disconnects on this topic. We provide a safe and effective space to facilitate conversations related to consent. We focus on aftercare for social ruptures and transgressions and create compassionate restorative repair using a reparative justice model. We also work with individuals and moresomes on proactively understanding the concepts around advanced consensuality in our workshops and in private sessions.
